Beautiful Dream began as a planned sequel to my earlier painting Cupid and Psyche. I envisioned it as a continuation of that story, a third chapter in the same spirit. But somewhere along the journey, the work started to transform into something else — something unexpected. That shift reminded me of the importance of staying open to what a painting wants to become. Sometimes the act of creation means letting go of control and allowing the piece to find its own path.
From there, Beautiful Dream carried both digital and physical roots. First released as an NFT on OpenSea in 2022, its story now continues where it began — in the original acrylic on canvas. Painted on a 12×12 surface, soft pastels interlace with flowing gold lines to create motion, depth, and a dreamlike energy.
At its heart, Beautiful Dream is about good energy and positive manifestation — the opposite of nightmares. It reflects those luminous dreams we hold onto in life, mysterious and harder to describe than fearful ones, yet no less powerful. Sometimes they even carry encounters with benevolent entities, reminders of the beauty and mystery that dreams can reveal.
