Magic Night marked a new phase in my creative journey — a time of experimentation and discovery. I was exploring how quickly I could bring a painting to life, shifting from month-long processes to creating completed works within a few hours. That urgency shaped the style — a balance between planning and intuition.
Canvas knife work became a key influence here, adding texture and movement to the surface while keeping the process spontaneous. It was also my first sale — a clear sign that this direction resonated. Inspired by my love for Tim Burton and Van Gogh, Magic Night became the spark that led me to continue this approach as an ongoing series.
