Cosmic Night marks a whimsical and cosmical shift within the Savage Garden — a moment when the flowers began to reach beyond the earth and into the stars. The piece explores a sense of upward motion and wonder, blending the familiar garden forms with the vastness of a night sky.
While painting it, I wanted to find something new within this recurring world of flowers — something that looked beyond. The result is both playful and celestial, with stems and glowing blooms that seem to drift through a cosmic breeze.
